1. About NAIT
The North American Islamic Trust (NAIT) is a U.S.-based religious non-profit organization, tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. EIN: 36-2927642. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by U.S. law. Donors should retain their receipt for tax purposes.
2. Use of Donations & Fees
100% of your base donation is directed to NAIT's campaign to support victims of Islamophobia and their families. Payment processors (Stripe / PayPal) may apply standard transaction fees that are absorbed by NAIT unless the donor voluntarily covers them. The optional "Support Ensany platform" contribution is a separate, opt-in amount that supports the donation platform's infrastructure and is not part of the relief fund.
3. Donor Rights & Refunds
Donors may request a refund within 14 days of the transaction by contacting NAIT at the address below. Refunds for funds already disbursed to beneficiaries may not be possible. Recurring monthly donations may be cancelled at any time.
4. State Charitable Solicitation Registration
NAIT complies with applicable U.S. state charitable solicitation laws. Registration in your state does not imply endorsement. For a full list of states in which NAIT is registered, or to request a copy of NAIT's financial statements, please contact us at the address below. Residents of certain states (including FL, NY, PA, WA, and others) may obtain disclosures directly from their state charity regulator.
5. Anti-Money Laundering & OFAC Compliance
NAIT and its payment partners screen donations in accordance with U.S. Treasury Department and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations. Contributions from sanctioned individuals, entities, or jurisdictions are prohibited and will be refused or returned. NAIT does not knowingly accept funds derived from illegal sources.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
